This cruise ship gets more Instagram love than any other

Here’s something Instagram fans likely already know: Royal Caribbean’s Harmony of the Seas gets more love on the site than any other ship.

SeaHub, which compares prices and sells cruises, tallied the number of Instagram tags on cruise posts as of Jan. 2. Royal Caribbean International came in first, with more than 630,000 tags. Carnival came in second. Disney, Princess and Celebrity fill out the top five lines.

The Harmony of the Seas came in as the top Royal Caribbean ship on Instagram. The Carnival Vista, Celebrity Reflection, Disney Dream, Norwegian Escape and Regal Princess were tops in their respective lines on the social media site.

Other Instagram findings:

--Among locales, the Caribbean, with British Virgin Islands and Havana the most popular, took the top spot. The Bahamas and Nassau came in second, followed by Florida and Miami.

--Cruise passengers spend an average of 4.38 hours at their ports of call.

--Seafood and desserts are the most Instagrammed cruise foods; cocktails the most popular drinks to post.

In the Feb. 1 statement, SeaHub says it looked for #cruise on Instagram and found more than 1.8 million posts. The posts were grouped by keywords or cruise lines. Rankings were determined by how frequently the terms appeared.
