Las Vegas: Tony Sacca marks 50 years in the biz with free shows

Share

Free, old-style variety shows will return to Las Vegas in September as longtime entertainer Tony Sacca celebrates 50 years in show business.

Sacca, a singer and TV host who has been on the Las Vegas circuit for three decades, will emcee three free shows on consecutive Fridays starting Sept. 13. The 2 p.m. performances will be in the Railhead at Boulder Station, a hotel-casino five miles east of the Strip.

The lineups feature some familiar names. On Sept. 13 Sacca will be joined by comedian Louie Anderson, impressionist Rich Natole, singer Kat Ray and tribute band Yellow Brick Road.

On Sept. 20, Sacca will be introducing – among others - actor Chris Allen, Brazilian singer Patty Ascher and the Phat Pack.

Sacca closes out the shows Sept. 27, when he will be joined by comic Harry Basil, former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman and Thunder From Down Under, an all-male dance revue.

Doors open at 1 p.m. and guests must be at least 21.
