It's Day 2 of summer. If you don't have vacation plans yet, you're behind. Fortunately, there's an easy solution. Visit one of America's 58 national parks. They encompass some of the country's best natural sights, including Alaska's pristine wilderness, Yellowstone's hot springs, Utah's rock formations and Hawaii's volcanoes. Washington Visitors in 2009 (through August): 2.4 million Olympic National Park is 95% wilderness, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. The park offers beaches, rain forests, glaciers and miles of hiking trails. Several lodges, resorts and campgrounds cater to overnight visitors. Make sure you check the weather before your visit. Parts of the park get as much as 12 feet of rain a year.
