Offbeat Traveler: Endangered world landmarks

Last week, the World Monuments Fund, a New York-based nonprofit that seeks to preserve culturally significant places worldwide, released its list of threatened sites around the world. The list of 67 places includes six U.S. locations and encompasses 41 countries.
