Deal: Need a room in Washington? Kimpton to launch sale at 12 hotels
Kimpton Hotels will begin a room sale this week at a dozen of its boutique hotels around Washington. Guests receive a $25 credit for each night of their stay to use for food, parking, room service, spa treatments or even the cost of the room.
The deal: The “Give Yourself Some Credit” sale starts Friday. I like this deal because there are nice location options; you can be centrally located in the capital or choose to be in the outskirts in Virginia or Baltimore.
To get the deal, use the code “kredit” when making a reservation online or by phone.
Room prices start at $119 a night (less if you use the hotel credit) for stays in winter and early spring.
When: The sale begins Friday and ends Dec. 30. The offer is good for stays through March 31, based on availability.
Details: I wasn’t able to test this deal because the sale hasn’t started.
But if you’re planning to check it out, here are the hotels where you’ll find the deal:
--the Palomar Washington DC at 2121 P St. NW;
--Donovan House at 1155 14th St. NW;
--the George at 15 E St. NW;
--Rouge at 1315 16th St. NW;
--Helix at 1430 Rhode Island Ave. NW;
--Topaz at 1733 N St. NW; and
--Madera at 1310 New Hampshire Ave. NW.
It also applies to Monaco hotels in Washington, Baltimore and Alexandria, Va., as well as the Morrison House and Lorien Hotel & Spa, both in Alexandria.
