If winter on the west coast of Sweden appeals, Delta is offering a round trip from Los Angeles International Airport to Gothenburg for $637, including all taxes and fees.
In Scandinavia, the days can be very short and chilly. On Dec. 22, the winter solstice, the sun in Gothenburg will rise at 8:55 a.m. and set at 3:27 p.m. The average high temperature in December is 37, and the low is 28.
The fare is subject to availability. You must stay at least seven days, and you may depart from LAX any day between November and April.
