Round trip to San Francisco from LAX on Southwest is $96 from now through late winter

You can fly round trip to San Francisco for less than $100 and see the new Salesforce Tower, from the outside at least. It dominates the skyline.

You may not be able to see the inside of the new Salesforce Transit Center in San Francisco — the tower, which is more than 1,000 feet tall, opened and then closed because of cracks in some of the steel — but that doesn’t stop it from being a beautiful addition to the San Francisco skyline.

This week’s fare gets you to San Francisco for less than a C-note on Southwest, which means you don’t pay to check a bag and if your plans change, you won’t pay a change fee either.

Here are the details:

Fares: From LAX, $96 round trip, including all taxes and fees, to San Francisco on Southwest.

Restrictions: The fare, subject to availability, must be purchased by Oct. 25. It is for travel Mondays-Thursdays and Saturdays from November through March 6. Peak holiday travel is blacked out.
