B&B; does not reflect Huahine

Susan Spano’s report of her experience (“Remembering Some Close Shaves on the Travel-Writing Road,” Her World, Nov. 24) on the island of Huahine was unfortunate and one that does not accurately reflect what the island has to offer most tourists. In Tahiti, pensions -- small, family-owned bed-and-breakfast accommodations -- vary widely in quality and price. We strongly recommend that travelers who wish to stay in a pension do their research first. Huahine -- while not as well known as Bora-Bora, Tahiti or Moorea -- has several high-quality hotels.
