Kalaw has no airport but Air Mandalay, https://www.airmandalay.com, and Air Bagan, https://www.airbagan.com, fly from Yangon to Heho three times a day. You can also reach Kalaw by air-conditioned bus from Yangon, a 12-hour ride. Tickets are about $13 and can be purchased at many Yangon hotels. Train service from Yangon is also available, with an overnight stay in Thazi at the Moon Light Guesthouse, followed by a scenic ride to Kalaw in the morning.
