“My wife, Pamela, found this splendid B&B when she was planning our trip to New Zealand. It is a beautifully restored Victorian house with immaculate rooms, showers, comfortable beds and huge breakfasts. Owners Des and Tracey are perfect hosts and will tell you what to see in their city. It’s on the electric tram route that provides scenic rides and access to central Christchurch. There are eight rooms. We were sorry to leave.” Doubles from $84.
