Florence Henderson to appear on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ cruises

Yes, Carol Brady can dance! Florence Henderson, best known as the matriarch of “The Brady Bunch,” will sail aboard two Holland America cruises in June as part of the line’s “Dancing With the Stars: At Sea” sailings.

Henderson will appear aboard the MS Veendam weeklong cruise from Boston to Bermuda on June 6 and a second weeklong sailing from Boston to New England and Canada on June 13.

Henderson was one of the 2010 contestants on the popular “Dancing With the Stars” show on ABC. TV personality Carson Kressley and two of the show’s pro dancers, Tristan MacManus and Kym Johnson, also will perform.

Prices of each stateroom (based on two people per cabin) start at $699 per person for the June 6 cruise and $599 per person for the June 15 cruise.

Each “Dancing” cruise scheduled now through Nov. 24 features a celebrity and professional dancers from the show performing choreographed routines. Extra events include dance lessons and a chance to meet the pros and celebrities.

Each ship also has a dance competition in which winners have a shot at attending a Champions Cruise and a chance to win the Mirrorball Trophy. Winning couples from each ship are scheduled to sail aboard the MS Nieuw Amsterdam on Jan. 10.
