Do some surfing at the new FlowRider at Planet Hollywood Resort

Amateurs and pros alike can surf on this new attraction without getting hurt

You can catch some major waves on the Las Vegas Strip now. Surf's up at the only FlowRider Wave-in-a-Box now open at Planet Hollywood Resort.

Pros and amateurs alike can hang ten and surf on this new Wave-in-a-Box Double, a simple and safe way to surf. Novices can start on bodyboards and work their way up for standing up on flow boards. The more daring can try flips, aerials and an assortment of other tricks. The technology behind the waves absorbs the energy of a fall.

And because it’s Las Vegas, the FlowRider has its own bar.

The opening also marks some other new changes to the resort's pool. A pool bar, cafe, live deejays and 21 cabanas with bottle service, daybeds, air conditioning, TVs, safes and retractable shades now line the pool.

The FlowRider is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Prices start at $20 for 30 minutes.
