Debby Boone is ready to light up your life in Las Vegas

Debby Boone's latest album covers songs from her father's era in Las Vegas

Debby Boone was a part of the Pat Boone Family singing group before she went solo and became an instant star with “You Light Up My Life” in 1977. That song topped out on the Billboard chart for 10 weeks at No. 1.

Now the singer brings that song and more to the Suncoast Showroom on Saturday, May 16, and Sunday, May. 17.

The three-time Grammy Award winner moved on to county music with songs such as “In Memory of Your Love” and a cover of Connie Francis’ “My Heart Has a Mind of Its Own.”

After a hiatus to raise her children, Boone released “Reflections of Rosemary,” a tribute to her mother-in-law Rosemary Clooney, in 2005.

Her 13th album “Swing This” came out in June 2013 with songs from the golden era of Las Vegas during the 1960s when her father, Pat Boone, performed at the Sands and Sahara hotels.

Tickets are available from $15.95.

Tickets: Suncoast Showroom, (702) 636-7075
