The middle of September tends to bring the Latin stars to Las Vegas for Mexican Independence Day, and the latest name added to the roster is none other than Juan Gabriel. The Latin pop singer-songwriter performs at the Mandalay Bay Events Center on Sunday, Sept. 13, as part of his Bienvenidos al Noa Noa tour.
The Billboard Latin Music Hall of Fame inductee is one of Mexico’s most successful singers, selling more than 30 million albums worldwide during his 40-year career.
The six-time Grammy Award nominee is known for hits “No Tengo Dinero” and “Querida.” In addition to performing, Gabriel has also become a successful producer, actor and humanitarian, even appearing in the 1975 film “Nobleza Ranchera.”
He’s written and recorded more than 1,000 songs in genres such as rancheras with mariachi, ballads, pop, rock and disco. His last studio album, “Los Dúo,” came out this year.
Tickets start at $69 and go on sale on Friday, June 19.
