Comedian Russell Peters returns to Las Vegas in September

Share

Comedian Russell Peters jumps straight off NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” and the movie “Chef” to perform at The Pearl at the Palms on Sunday, Sept. 6.
Dubbed Canada’s No. 1 stand-up export, Peters brings all new material when he returns to Las Vegas with his Almost Famous World Tour, which features his latest takes on his favorite communities, cell phones, dating and his uncle who’s never been punched in the mouth. One of Peters’ signature bits brings lightning fast improv with the audience.

The show will also feature Peters’ Official Tour DJ, New York City’s DJ Spinbad, as well as video cameras and screens for an up-close and intimate show in the 2,500-seat theater.

Peters was one of the first stand-up comedians to self-finance, self-produce and distribute his own comedy specials and DVDs. “Red, White and Brown” and 2011’s “The Green Card Tour LIVE from the O2 Arena” went on to sell more than 350,000 copies in North America.

His last special, “Notorious,” was the first original comedy special for Netflix and was also supported by a four-part documentary series, “Russell Peters Vs The World.”
