70th anniversary of atomic bombing of Hiroshima

On Aug. 6, 1945, the American B-29 bomber Enola Gay dropped a bomb, dubbed "Little Boy," on Hiroshima, Japan, in one of the closing chapters of World War II.  The explosion incinerated the city center with a wall of heat hot enough to melt steel.
