Beating Is Fatal to Brea Man, 82
Harold Logan, the 82-year-old Brea man who was beaten in his home Feb. 20 by an intruder, has died as a result of the attack.
The Orange County coroner’s office said Logan died Monday of pneumonia brought on by brain injuries and a skull fracture.
Brea police planned to circulate this morning a composite sketch of a man seen in the neighborhood the afternoon Logan was beaten.
Police Sgt. Ed McDonald said the person pictured on the flyer is not now considered a suspect, but he added, “We hope somebody can identify this guy.”
