Belgian Gays Oppose Visit

GHENT, Belgium —
Fearing the intensification of repression against homosexuals, a group of gays has formed a committee to oppose Pope John Paul II’s visit to Belgium in May, their spokesman, Paul Gordijn,said Thursday.
