UC Irvine’s Men Beat Texas Tech in Tennis

The UC Irvine men’s tennis team defeated Texas Tech, 9-0, Saturday in a nonconference match at the Laguna Niguel Racket Club.

The Anteaters were led by No. 1 singles player Bruce Man Son Hing, who defeated Simon Hurry, 6-1, 6-3, to record his sixth consecutive match victory.

UCI (13-5) is ranked 12th in the nation and will play the University of New Mexico, today at 1 o’clock at the Laguna Niguel Racket Club.
