Meyer Investment Properties Inc. has purchased the 10-story Bank of America office building in downtown Anaheim and plans to spend more than $1 million in renovation work.

The 138,560-square-foot structure at Broadway and Harbor Boulevard was purchased for $7.1 million from New York-based Canal Randolph Inc.

Acquisition of the building strengthens Meyer’s commitment to central city development in Anaheim, regional manager Frank Wayne said. He said the company is in construction on the first phase of Anaheim City Center, the first major downtown commercial complex.
