Workmen Touch Off Fire in White House East Wing

WASHINGTON —
Workmen using torches to remove old paint from a window touched off a fire Thursday in the East Wing of the White House, where First Lady Nancy Reagan has her offices.
Washington firefighters quickly doused the flames and no injuries were reported.
