A seventh suspect was arrested by FBI agents at a Navy base in Bremerton, Wash., in connection with the international ring that allegedly exported sophisticated military equipment for sale to Iran. The suspect is a 38-year-old Navy man, Aviation Storekeeper Antonio Gadula Rodriguez. He had been AWOL and was arrested by agents when he returned to his ship, the Belleau Wood, which is undergoing repairs at the base. Federal authorities would not reveal what his alleged role was in the ring but indicated that he was actively involved in theft of F-14 aircraft parts that were ultimately sold to Iran. Rodriguez, who is charged with theft from interstate shipment in connection with the stolen parts, will be arraigned today before a U. S. Magistrate in Seattle.
