The Rev. Rory Harris will be ordained...
The Rev. Rory Harris will be ordained as assistant priest at 6 p.m. Wednesday at St. Clement’s By-the-Sea Episcopal Church in San Clemente. The Right Rev. C. Shannon Mallory, bishop of the Diocese of El Camino Real, will officiate. Harris obtained a second degree in sacred theology from the Yale/Berkeley Divinity School. He received his Master of Divinity degree from the Melodyland School of Theology in Anaheim. From 1978 to 1982 he served as youth director for St. James Episcopal Church in Newport Beach.
Harris will take charge of St. Clement’s youth program, neighborhood evangelism, Christian education and pastoral care programs. The church is situated at 202 Avenida Aragon. For information, call (714) 492-3401.
