An attorney charged with getting a pistol past San Quentin Prison officials before a foiled breakout in which six men died has filed a lawsuit to obtain FBI documents about himself. Stephen Bingham, 42, filed suit in U.S. District Court in San Francisco seeking data about himself, the Black Panther Party and George Jackson. Jackson, a convict activist, was killed in the Aug. 21, 1971, escape attempt. Three corrections officers and two inmate trusties also died.
