Fery Aalam resigned as chairman and chief executive of Chatsworth-based Key Image Systems, citing disagreements with company directors over “the future plan of operation and direction of the company.” The firm has lost money for seven consecutive quarters. He had served as chief executive since March, 1980, and as chairman since April. President Fara Mahdavi will assume Aalam’s duties. Ehsan An Manavi, a director, was named chairman.
