Oakland Defeats the Strings, 23-21
Chris Dunk and Mike DePalmer of the Oakland Aces defeated Eliot Teltscher and Steve Meister of the Strings, 6-4, in the final match of the evening to give Oakland a 23-21 Team Tennis victory Friday night before 769 at the Forum.
Dunk was the leading scorer in the match as he also teamed with Peanut Louie-Harper to defeat Meister and Penny Barg, 6-1, in mixed doubles.
In the singles matches, Lisa Bonder of the Strings defeated Louie-Harper, 6-2, and Teltscher beat DePalmer, 6-3.
On Thursday, the Strings defeated the Aces, 24-23, at Oakland.
