Garden Grove : Woman Critically Hurt in Crash; Driver Held
A Capistrano Beach man was arrested after midnight Friday on a felony drunk-driving charge after a two-car collision that left a Garden Grove woman in critical condition, police said.
Charles R. Collins was westbound on Chapman Avenue when he apparently ran a red light and collided with a car driven by Christine Creager, 36, who was traveling northbound on Euclid Street, Police Lt. John Baker said.
Collins’ bail was set at $5,000, Baker said. Creager was listed in critical condition Saturday at UC Irvine Medical Center.
