First Lady’s Exonerated Maid Returns to Job

WASHINGTON —
Nancy Reagan’s personal maid, who was cleared of any wrongdoing in an alleged scheme to smuggle ammunition to Paraguay, is back at her old job at the White House, the First Lady’s press secretary said today.
Elaine Crispen said Anita Castelo was on the job when Mrs. Reagan arrived at the White House Tuesday evening from her California trip. “She’s very fond of her,” Crispen said.
