Officer to Be Based in Wachs’ Foothill Office
A police officer has been assigned to take police reports once a week at the Foothill Boulevard field office of Los Angeles City Councilman Joel Wachs, officials announced Thursday.
The effort is designed to make the police more accessible to the Sunland-Tujunga area
The officer is to take reports from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Tuesday at 7747 Foothill Blvd.
The Sunland-Tujunga area is serviced by the Foothill Division of the Los Angeles police, but it can sometimes take an hour for a police car to answer a call, officials have said.
