According to an article in The Times, the National Security Council doubled their personnel from 75 to 150 while all of the mischief was going on.
This isn’t the line that the Reagan Administration fed to Congress and the people when budget cuts were made in social security, Medicare and money for the homeless and other worthwhile social programs.
