Brooklyn College Defeats USIU, 89-66

Keith Grady scored 26 points as Brooklyn College ended a six-game losing streak by beating United States International University, 89-66, at home in a nonconference men’s basketball game Monday night.

Grady and Jeff Petway, who finished with 14 points, each scored six points during a 14-0 spurt that put the Kingsmen ahead, 44-22, late in the first half. Brooklyn is 6-8.

Kelly Andrews paced the Gulls (5-8) with 20 points. The Gulls complete their two-game trip against Utica Wednesday night.
