CELEBRITY FUN
I sincerely--hey, I mean it, babe!--hope Bruce Feirstein’s heavily connected agent has already negotiated an HBO special, a Vanity Fair cover, a multipic deal and a date with Joan Collins for his/her extremely fun client.
The pathetic rise and fall of Dexter Williams III would make a powerful mini-, make that microminiseries, starring younger versions of Bronson Pinchot and Vanna White. Heck, I’d stay up to watch it, even if Donald Wrye gets to direct it.
Until then, I’ll just re-read Feirstein’s truly hip treatise on celebrity, American-style, and try to come up with six jokes that will knock ‘em dead at the Improv.
