U.S.-Israel and Spy Case
I take umbrage at Bamford’s article. He impugns my patriotism and my loyalty to the United States and that of all American Jews. He paints with a broad brush, and no one is immune from his snide implications, apparently based on excerpts from old FBI and CIA reports.
Bamford’s calumnious remarks ignore history and the millions of American Jews, both native and immigrant, Zionist and non-Zionist, who have proven their patriotism and loyalty to the United States over and over.
U.S. foreign policy is under constant review and each review seems to have reinforced the necessity that the United States maintain, nay foster, the only real bastion of democracy in the Middle East, Israel.
The Pollard affair was an error from the start, but “let he who is without sin . . .”
