Carter’s Criticism From Overseas
White House spokesman Marlin Fitzwater says “If he (Jimmy Carter) wants to be helpful in the area of foreign affairs, he might want to forgo criticism of U.S. leaders (i.e. Ronald Reagan) while he’s on foreign soil.”
In view of the Iran-amok mess in the White House, I wonder if it is accurate to say that Carter has criticized a U.S. leader when he criticized Ronald Reagan.
