Vice President George Bush said that he favored mandatory testing for AIDS before people get married. Bush, on a visit to the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md., said that AIDS testing should be routine before marriage, but that any positive findings should not prevent people from getting married. The vice president said that people should have information about AIDS risks just as they do about venereal diseases before marriage.
