Dial-a-Drug Service Foiled by Police Call
Police foiled a dial-a-drug delivery service by phoning in an order for cocaine and then arresting two messengers who delivered the drug and themselves into the hands of the law, authorities said Saturday.
The unwitting pair brought the kilogram of high-grade but cut-rate cocaine to undercover officers a block from the East Harlem headquarters of the Special Anti-Crack Unit.
The police had learned of the service from four suspects arrested on unrelated drug charges, and promptly called in their order Friday night, a police sergeant said.
