J. Jeffrey Campbell, 42, an executive vice president of Pillsbury Co. and chairman and CEO of its Burger King unit, will become chairman of the Pillsbury Restaurant Group--a new position.

Campbell, who joined Burger King in 1971 and is credited with executing the successful “Battle of the Burgers” marketing campaign in 1982, will move from Burger King’s Miami headquarters to Minneapolis, where he will be responsible for all of Pillsbury’s restaurant operations.
