Duarte : City Attorney Appointed
The City Council has appointed former Councilman James Coughlin to be city attorney, replacing William Camil, who resigned. After 19 years on the council, Coughlin quit his seat last month to apply for Camil’s position. Earlier this month, the council appointed former Planning Commissioner Ed Beranek to Coughlin’s seat.
