Cerritos : 4 Reassigned to School Jobs
Two high school principals and two administrators have been given new assignments under a reorganizational plan by Supt. Kenneth L. Moffett of the ABC Unified School District.
Gahr High School Principal Mara Clisby has been named assistant to the district superintendent. Artesia High School Principal Joseph Quarles will become district personnel director, a new position. The two principals, who begin their new assignments July 1, will be replaced by the time school reopens in the fall.
Charles Ledbetter, formerly assistant superintendent for personnel, will be assistant superintendent for educational services. Virgil Hall, assistant superintendent for business, will take on the additional duty of overseeing personnel.
The reorganization is the result of a Los Angeles County Office of Education management review of the school district, which Moffett requested.
