Politboro member Karoly Grosz was named Hungary’s new premier by Parliament in a reshuffling of the Communist Party and government leadership. Grosz, 57, has long been an outspoken politician who has urged the East European Communist nation to brace itself for harsh measures needed to rebuild the deteriorating economy.
