Mack Lobell, which had 10 victories in 20 starts last year earning $574,665, had not raced since last November.

Owned by Louis Guida and Edward K. Mullen, Mack Lobell will attempt to become the first trotting triple crown winner since Super Bowl in 1972.

The second leg is the Hambletonian at the Meadowlands on Aug. 8, followed by the Kentucky Futurity in Lexington, Ky., on Oct. 2.
