Supervisors OK 1,830-Home Tract in North Valencia
The Newhall Land & Farming Co. has received Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors’ approval to build an 1,830-home community in the northern part of Valencia.
Construction on the 605-acre site north of Newhall Ranch Road is expected to begin next May, and move-ins will begin in January, 1989. The new community will be known as Northbridge.
Northbridge will be the first development in the so-called North River Planning Area. North River will have 10,000 homes when it is completed around the turn of the century.
