Skinner Leads at Cottonwood by Three Strokes
EL CAJON —
Debbie Skinner of Chula Vista shot a one-under-par 72 to take a three-stroke lead after one round of the Women’s Professional Golf Tour Cottonwood Classic at Cottonwood Country Club’s Ivanhoe course Tuesday.
Jenny Davis-Cole of Rancho Santa Fe was tied with Judy Furst and Jennifer Steiner for second at 75.
The tournament will resume today on Cottonwood’s Monte Vista course at 10 a.m. The final round will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday on the Ivanhoe course.
