Designer Babies

It’s a fine goal to choose sperm that will produce a visionary poet or a secular savior, but the parents of these superbabies allow them to make their own rules, regardless of the consequences to themselves or to others. What are the probable results? I suggest that these children, whose lives are mapped by designer parents, will grow into adolescents who, if failing to write visionary poetry or whatever, will not only spit in their parents’ collective eye but will, by virtue of their high intelligence rating, find very creative ways to get even.
