U.S. Officer Disappears in Bolivia Landslide

LA PAZ, Bolivia —
Two U.S. military officers assigned to anti-narcotics police units in Bolivia were caught in a landslide and swept into a river, one of them disappearing and the other escaping with injuries, officials reported Saturday.
The victims had been camped beside the river in a cocaine-paste producing region of central Bolivia.
