On the Hunt for a Moist and Tiny Towel

Helen Hall of Hollywood needs to find some “Towlettes” or other moist , individual , thin towels, folded down to about two square inches, in sealed wrappings; all she sees these days are the pull-out types in tall containers. Can you help before Helen has to get out the crying towel, or will she never again feel dry behind the ears?

Here’s another call for old-fashioned curtain stretchers. The last time we found no retail sources, but several readers said they had curtain stretchers and wouldn’t mind giving them up. By any stretch of the imagination, is it possible that we get those names again, so that we can compile an up-to-date list of curtain-stretcher owners?

We have another request that seems to be stretching things a bit. Shirley Weinstein of South Pasadena has a hand-knit , Irish wool , fisherman’s pullover that she would like to change either into a cardigan or equip with a zipper in the back ; she wants to avoid having her hair mussed up. Can you help with a source that Weinstein can just zip over to, or will she be convinced that somebody is trying to pull the wool over her eyes?
