Karen Malkoff has joined the Newport Beach office of Christopher Weil & Co., a financial planning and securities firm, in the new position of vice president, satellite branch operations. She previously was executive vice president of Direct Capital Corp., a Santa Monica-based company, where she was responsible for the retail securities division. Malkoff also worked as a registered representative for Chadwick Securities and taught in the School of Business at California State University, Dominguez Hills.
