Ikle, Top Pentagon Aide, Says He’s Resigning Post

WASHINGTON —
Fred C. Ikle, the Defense Department’s third-ranking official, said Saturday he has submitted his resignation to President Reagan. Ikle, 63, the undersecretary of defense for policy, said he will leave sometime in February and look for part-time work in private industry.
