Noel A. (Bill) Lee was appointed president of Grace Speciality Chemicals’ Pacific division and Shojiro (Mike) Makino was named president of the company’s Japan Chemicals division.

Grace Specialty Chemicals, a unit of W. R. Grace & Co., made the moves at the same time it reorganized its Pacific Basin operations to concentrate resources and management closer to developing markets in East Asia. Lee and Makino were also elected corporate vice presidents of Grace.
