J. Scott Meyer has been named senior vice president-store planning and construction at Carter Hawley Hale Stores. Meyer, who joined Carter Hawley in 1977 as director of store planning, will be in charge of new store construction and remodeling.

Carter Hawley, which owns the Broadway department stores, also appointed Collette F. Ventrone to vice president of store planning and Robert L. Turner to vice president of construction. Ventrone and Turner both joined the company in 1980.
